Advanced Techniques of C-to-HDL Tranformations
Michalik, Martin ; Křoustek, Jakub (referee) ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with proposal and implementation of advanced transformations used du- ring generation HDL from behavior description written in C language, which is part of architecture specification in CodAL language. These transformations focus either on the reduction of time required for execution, increasing frequency or area reduction of target hardware. This thesis discusses main problems of C to HDL transformation and describes principles and analysis of proposed transformations. Transformations results are discussed based on the visualisation of control data flow and register transfer level graphs, simulation of generated VHDL source files in the ModelSim software and synthesis of these source files for target FPGA Vertix 5 in the Xilinx ISE software.

Vertex/Pixel Shaders in Realtime Rendering
Ligmajer, Jiří ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
My bachelor's thesis is about vertex and pixel shaders. It is engaged in evolution, funcionality and usage of shaders in realtime graphics. This bachelor's thesis also includes tutorials, that are describing theory and implementation of three realtime rendering techniques, which were chosen by me. Results of my realtime techniques are evaluated at the end of my book.

Cultural and economic influence from the Czech Republic operating in the Romanian Banat
Blahota, Kryštof ; Zandlová, Markéta (advisor) ; Abu Ghosh, Yasar (referee)
This thesis addresses the cultural and economic influence that the Czech Republic has on the Czech village Eibenthal, located in the Romanian Banat region. My research focuses on the economic activities and strategies in Eibenthal and looks at who participates and who create them. At the same time, my research is concerned with how the economic processes in question transform the whole village and it's inhabitants and how the regional population approaches the processes and the main economic actors that create this impact. I look at the terrain of the thesis through the key concept of post-socialism, shaped by the continuous process of transformation of institutions and practices that gradually evolve from the "valley" of socialism (Hann 2002). The thesis focuses primarily on the compatriots and the village as such - how it is transformed and what connections occur in relation to the major economic actors in thearea, Kluci z Banátu, who approach the village and all their projects as "an Eibenthal project". This not only transforms life in the village, but also affects traditional regional practices. Key words: economic influence, transformations, post-socialism, Eibenthal, Kluci z Banatu

Anne Sexton and her transformations of fairy tales
Sázavská, Markéta ; Kučera, Miloš (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
This thesis deals with the life and work of the American poet Anne Sexton. The focus is mainly on her collection Transformations, which comprises poems that retell fairy tales originally collected by the German brothers Grimm. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical approaches of psychobiography and the psychology of art literature, which are employed in the analysis. The theoretical section of the work also includes a biography of Anne Sexton and a brief overview of her life's work, with a specific focus on the Transformations collection. A dedicated chapter is also devoted to the exploration of confessional poetry, as the literary genre to which Anne Sexton's work belongs. The practical part of the work consists of an analysis and interpretation of selected poems from the Transformations collection, namely the poems The Golden Key and Briar Rose. The thesis further deals with Anne Sexton's relationship with her father, and the final chapter reflects on the feminist aspects within the poet's work.
